“I am so proud of the restoration projects Liz Bauer Dickson and her husband Jeff have completed on South Franklin Street in Christiansburg. She and Jeff have taken two very old and prominent properties and restored them to their original grandeur. As a native of Christiansburg and having grown up within a block of these buildings, I had become saddened by the way they had deteriorated because I remember both properties very well. In fact, I walked past the house and apartment building almost every day and played in their yards with friends. Liz and Jeff have breathed new lives into these properties, and I followed their progress on both from start to finish. I always looked forward the progress pictures that appeared on Facebook and witnessed the transformations firsthand. “This is the second project that Liz and Jeff have done for me. This project was a kitchen renovation. I've known Liz and Jeff for awhile and I have seen some of their projects. Liz and Jeff came by for the consult, Liz took in the surroundings and took notes of things I was looking for in a kitchen. Jeff took measurements so they knew what kind of space they had to work with. I had very few request, leaving creative control to Liz. Liz has an amazing ability to see potential for a project that you may not have considered. Jeff is the skilled craftsman with the assistance of Caleb to carry out Liz's designs. Jeff is not only skilled at what he does but he is a great problem solver. As you know going into a renovation you never know what you are going to find.
